Job Overview

The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in enhancing the development and deployment processes at EdEx by implementing and managing robust DevOps practices. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Monitor and enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance application lifecycle management.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost management.
• Implement security best practices in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation using languages like Python or Bash.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues promptly.
• Engage in regular code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices.
• Coordinate disaster recovery and backup operations, ensuring data integrity and availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation purposes.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• In-depth understanding of networking, security, and database management.
