Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, developing strategies to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance the build and deployment processes for microservices and cloud-native applications.
• Implement configuration management tools to automate server configuration and management.
• Conduct security assessments and integrate security practices within the DevOps lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies.
• Participate in incident response and troubleshooting to resolve operational issues and optimize system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including hands-on experience with services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.
• Strong familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring strategies in cloud environments.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior DevOps Engineer will work with a variety of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Git, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. Familiarity with these tools will be essential in successfully executing the responsibilities of the role and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our systems.
