Overview

ezCater is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing our development and operational processes by implementing modern DevOps practices. You will work collaboratively with software engineering teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, automate workflows, and ensure the continuous availability of our systems. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for seamless code deployment.
• Automate system and application monitoring to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Manage and provision cloud infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Collaborate with development teams to establish best practices for software development and deployment.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of production environments through proactive monitoring and incident response.
• Implement security best practices across all deployment pipelines and environments.
• Conduct regular system performance reviews and make recommendations for optimization.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Chef).
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Technologies & Tools
