Overview

The Senior DevOps Engineer at Motion Recruitment will play a critical role in establishing the DevOps culture as the first hire in this domain. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various applications.
• Collaborate with software development teams to optimize existing workflows and automate deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring security and compliance with best practices.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff and promote a DevOps culture across the organization.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or a related engineering role.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of networking and security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
