Overview

KLDiscovery is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team in a fully remote capacity. This role involves enhancing our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes, collaborating closely with development and operational teams to streamline software development and deployment pipelines. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the implementation of best practices in cloud automation, configuration management, and monitoring solutions, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our systems and applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enhance software release processes.
• Oversee the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and uphold operational standards and practices.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization.
• Develop and manage automation scripts to streamline repetitive tasks.
• Ensure security best practices are incorporated into all phases of development and deployment.
• Conduct system performance analysis and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond to outages or critical issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Strong experience with cloud providers, preferably AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills paired with a collaborative mindset.

Technologies & Tools

The ideal candidate will be proficient with a range of technologies and tools, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Ansible, and monitoring solutions such as Prometheus or Grafana.
