Job Overview

Coforma is seeking a highly-skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on enhancing the development and operational processes of our software applications. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of applications.
• Monitor and enhance system performance, availability, and reliability.
• Coordinate with software development teams to facilitate the transition of applications from development to production.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) utilizing tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage cloud infrastructures, primarily in AWS and Azure environments.
• Develop and enforce DevOps best practices and methodologies across teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely fashion.
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
• Participate in on-call duties to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role or related positions.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Strong experience with cloud service providers, particularly AWS and Azure.
• In-depth understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with scripting and programming languages, including Bash, Python, or Go.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, security practices, and system monitoring tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote environment.
