Overview

The Senior DevOps Engineer at PRI is responsible for architecting and implementing robust deployment pipelines and ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Collaborate with developers to define and refine deployment strategies and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and scalability of production systems.
• Automate manual tasks and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage infrastructure as code deployments utilizing various tools and technologies.
• Implement security best practices in all aspects of the development and deployment process.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar IT role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and associated tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools.
• Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Understanding of networking, security protocols, and system architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Technologies & Tools

This position requires proficiency in a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to AWS or other cloud service providers, Terraform for infrastructure as code, Jenkins or GitLab CI for Continuous Integration, Docker and Kubernetes for container management, and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet is also advantageous.
