Job Overview

OtB Tech LLC is seeking a qualified Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in AWS to join our dynamic team. This full-time position requires the successful candidate to leverage their expertise in DevOps practices to enhance our deployment pipelines, improve application performance, and participate in the implementation of CI/CD practices. The individual will play a pivotal role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline operations while ensuring high availability and security across our cloud infrastructure. This position is open to US Citizens only.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate software releases and updates.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment processes and integration of new features.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of applications and infrastructure utilizing AWS services.
• Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reliability throughout the software lifecycle.
• Implement security best practices and policies to safeguard cloud resources and applications.
• Participate in on-call support rotation and troubleshoot production issues as needed.
• Document architecture, processes, and workflows to ensure clear communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on AWS services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Strong experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Excellent understanding of networking concepts, cloud services, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
