Overview

Blue Sentry Cloud is seeking a meticulous and skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Azure to join our fully remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing our cloud operations, ensuring the stability and performance of our environments, and facilitating seamless deployment processes. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Monitor system health and performance, diagnosing and resolving issues within cloud services promptly.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure smooth transitions from development to production environments.
• Maintain security best practices and compliance within Azure environments.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior DevOps engineers and team members.
• Document processes, procedures, and system architectures to promote knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on Azure cloud services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell Scripting.
• Demonstrated experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts within cloud environments.
• Experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions, preferably using Azure Monitor or Application Insights.
