Job Overview

The Senior DevOps Engineering Manager will spearhead the DevOps initiatives within our team, focusing on improving collaboration between development and operations. Job Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers to optimize automation, deployment, and monitoring processes.
• Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes.
• Manage infrastructure configurations and automate provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of cloud and on-premises environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define SLOs and monitor SLIs for service performance.
• Develop strategies for incident response, change management, and disaster recovery.
• Implement monitoring and alerting strategies to maintain system health and performance.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continually enhance our DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with at least 2 years in a management capacity.
• Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong expertise in automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
• In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and databases.

The Senior DevOps Engineering Manager will engage regularly with a diverse array of cutting-edge technologies and tools including, but not limited to, AWS services, Terraform for infrastructure management, Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration, CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI, and monitoring solutions such as Prometheus and Grafana.
