Overview

The Senior DevOps Infrastructure Engineer at NMI will be an integral part of our technology team, overseeing the deployment, management, and optimization of our infrastructure solutions. This role requires deep understanding and experience in automation, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), as well as hybrid cloud environments. The Senior DevOps Infrastructure Engineer will work closely with developers, IT, and operations teams to ensure high availability, security, and efficiency of our services while also identifying areas for improvement and innovation in our processes and systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate new applications into the infrastructure.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and practices to enhance system performance and security.
• Conduct security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Document infrastructure processes, configurations, and procedures for future reference.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role.
• Proficiency in cloud service platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system architecture principles.
• Excellent scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
