Overview

As a Senior DevOps/Data Platform Engineer at Blue Sentry Cloud, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure and data platforms on Azure. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud architectures in Azure.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and optimize release processes.
• Develop and manage data integration pipelines for the movement and transformation of data across various services.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based applications and their performance across multiple environments.
• Contribute to security best practices and incident response planning and execution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or related fields, with a focus on cloud technologies.
• Extensive experience with Azure services including but not limited to Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Data Factory.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Grafana, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
