Job Description

About The Wellness Group

The Wellness Group (TWG) is a diversified healthcare holding company committed to transforming how care is delivered, managed, and experienced. Across our portfolio of companies, we build and scale innovative healthcare businesses: from care management and pharmacy services to wellness technology. We hire people who are mission driven, operationally sharp, and ready to do meaningful work.

About the Company

This role sits within one of TWG’s fast growing healthcare services companies, built to support patients in the space between the doctor’s visit and real life. Our clinical team pairs smart technology with real human connection, so patients get consistent support between visits. The company is scaling quickly in Dallas Fort Worth and nationally, and needs a commercial leader who can turn that momentum into predictable growth. Additional details about the company will be shared with qualified candidates.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Director of Sales and Marketing to own how the company finds, educates, and enrolls the patients and partners who need us. You will lead the field and community sales team, build the marketing engine that feeds patient enrollment, and turn provider, senior living, and community relationships into a repeatable growth channel. This is a builder role: you will set the strategy, hire and coach the team, choose the tools, and own the numbers.

You will not inherit a playbook. You will write it, and every enrollment it produces is a patient who gets care that would otherwise slip through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and execute the company’s sales and marketing strategy, with clear enrollment, revenue, and partner growth targets for the DFW market and each new market we enter.
  • Lead, hire, and coach the field sales organization, setting territories, goals, and a disciplined weekly operating cadence.
  • Develop and grow referral partnerships with physician practices, health systems, senior living communities, skilled nursing facilities, and community organizations.
  • Own demand generation across community, event, digital, and partner channels, delivering qualified leads that convert to enrolled patients.
  • Partner with operations and patient engagement leaders to align lead flow, messaging, handoffs, and conversion metrics from first touch to enrolled patient.
  • Build the brand and message, including seminar content, collateral, website, and campaigns that explain our services in plain language to patients, families, and providers.
  • Ensure all sales and marketing activity complies with Medicare program rules, HIPAA, TCPA, and federal and Texas anti kickback and patient solicitation laws, working hand in hand with Compliance and Legal.
  • Design and manage sales incentive plans that reward quality enrollments and patient retention, with review and approval by Finance and Legal.
  • Build pipeline reporting and dashboards in the CRM, and deliver accurate forecasts and performance updates to company and TWG leadership.
  • Manage the sales and marketing budget, vendors, and agencies with a sharp focus on cost per enrollment and return on spend.
  • Identify expansion markets and new partner channels as the company scales nationally.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related field (required); MBA or MHA a plus.
  • 10+ years of progressive sales and marketing experience, including 5+ years leading teams of managers and field based representatives (required).
  • Healthcare services experience strongly preferred, ideally in chronic care management, remote patient monitoring, home health, hospice, senior living, Medicare Advantage, or value based care.
  • Working knowledge of the compliance rules that govern healthcare sales and marketing, including Medicare marketing guidance, HIPAA, TCPA, and anti kickback laws.
  • A proven record of building referral partnerships with physician practices and senior care organizations that produce consistent volume.
  • Hands on command of CRM and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and the discipline to keep data clean.
  • Strong analytical skills: you know your funnel, conversion rates, cost per acquisition, and forecast, and you can explain all of it in two minutes.
  • Excellent communication skills; you are as credible presenting to a room of seniors in the morning as you are pitching a health system executive in the afternoon.
  • Willingness to travel locally across DFW every week and periodically to new markets.

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

  • You thrive in a build stage company where the systems do not exist yet and you get to create them.
  • You get energy from being in the field with your team, not just reading their reports.
  • You believe growth and compliance go together, and you would never trade one for the other.
  • You want your success measured by patients served as much as by revenue booked.

Compensation & Benefits

The Wellness Group offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional details will be shared during the interview process.

  • Competitive base salary (see pay band research for market context)
  • Performance incentive tied to enrollment and growth goals
  • Employee health, dental, and vision paid 100% by the company; dependent coverage at 50%
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company contribution of up to 6.5%
  • Paid vacation and wellness days
  • A mission driven environment where your work truly matters
