Job Summary

The Senior Director, Supply Chain is a critical leadership role responsible for directing all supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory management, production planning, vendor negotiations, analytics, and distribution. The scope of accountability, leadership responsibilities, and direct impact on operational performance make this role essential to maintaining business stability and meeting organizational goals.

General Profile

• Provides leadership and direction through managers
• Must have at least one manager level direct report
• Is accountable for the performance and results of a division or region
• Executes business plans and contributes to the development of functional strategy
• Decisions are guided by functional or major operational segment strategy and priorities
• Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment

Essential Functions

• Directs overall supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goods.
• Develops and implements strategies to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs.
• Oversees and advises on negotiation strategies with vendors to obtain optimal contracts and pricing.
• Provides guidance and strategic direction on analytics used to evaluate past performance and trends to forecast inventory and distribution requirements.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers

Required Qualifications

• Required education and experience: Associate degree and 10-12 years' experience
• Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
• Discipline/Major: Business or Supply Chain Management preferred
