Job Responsibilities

• Engage in proactive planning and architecture discussions to improve system reliability and security posture.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to align roadmaps with business goals and strategy.
• Analyze system performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing for performance and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• In-depth knowledge of security practices and frameworks, including OWASP, NIST, and ISO standards.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a proven track record of team leadership.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior Engineering Manager will have exposure to a variety of technologies and tools integral to our DevOps and security framework. These include but are not limited to cloud service providers such as AWS and Azure, container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins and GitLab, as well as infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. Familiarity with monitoring and logging platforms, such as Splunk or ELK Stack, will also be critical in this role.
