Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT engineering, with at least 5 years focused on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
• Proven leadership experience, managing technical teams in a rapidly changing environment.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, specifically VDI, including VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, or similar platforms.
• Extensive experience with network architecture, enterprise storage solutions, and server management.
• Excellent project management skills with a strong ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Citrix Certified Expert) are highly desirable.

Technologies & Tools

This position will involve working with advanced VDI solutions including VMware Horizon, Citrix, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop, as well as related infrastructure and management tools. Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation, monitoring tools, and performance analysis software is also essential. Experience in integrating with cloud services and managing hybrid environments will be advantageous.
