Senior Manager, Major Gifts

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, Major Gifts based in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced fundraising professional to lead major gift strategy and strengthen philanthropic support for a mission-driven arts and cultural organization. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of approximately 125 current and prospective donors, focusing on gifts of $25,000 or more, including multi-year and seven-figure commitments. You will develop personalized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies that build lasting donor relationships and increase financial contributions. Working closely with individual giving and artistic program teams, you will support fundraising campaigns and connect donors with initiatives aligned with the organization’s mission and values. You will also oversee fundraising efforts for a dedicated artist-focused program, coordinate donor engagement at key events, and lead a small development team. This full-time position combines strategic leadership, relationship management, and hands-on fundraising execution, with hybrid onsite work and travel required throughout the year.
