  • Maintain, modify, enhance, and troubleshoot the existing COMPASS pension administration application using VB.NET, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework 4.5.
  • Develop, debug, and document application code using Microsoft Visual Studio, including Visual Studio 2013.
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to upgrade, refactor, and configure legacy code.
  • Optimize stored procedures, SQL queries, and database scripts in SQL Server 2020.
  • Develop and enhance business rules using InRules/irAuthor 4.6.
  • Support pension administration workflows, benefit calculations, member records, and retirement processing.
  • Work on .NET batch processing and scheduled data operations.
  • Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and regression testing.
  • Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement approved fixes.
  • Maintain source control, technical documentation, and code change records.
  • Support monthly deployment and application validation activities.

Mandatory Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university, or a bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline supported by official transcripts demonstrating relevant computer science coursework.

Technical Experience

  • Minimum 12 years of paid professional experience developing applications using VB.NET.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, including Visual Studio 2013.
  • Strong experience with .NET Framework 4.5 and ASP.NET.
  • Experience with XML, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
  • Strong SQL Server 2020, stored procedure, and SSRS experience.
  • Demonstrated experience debugging legacy applications, documenting code changes, and collaborating with other developers on application upgrades.
  • Experience performing unit, integration, and regression testing.
  • Ability to document and verify prior project experience.
