Position: Senior Network & Compute Engineer - NVIDIA AI Infrastructure

Location: San Jose, CA or Anywhere in US and ready to travel

Rate: $60/hr. on w2

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network & Compute Engineer to deploy, configure, and support NVIDIA AI Factory and GPU-accelerated computing infrastructure. The role involves Linux administration, high-performance networking, Kubernetes, cluster provisioning, GPU troubleshooting, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain NVIDIA MGX/GB200 GPU clusters and compute infrastructure.
• Install and troubleshoot Linux, Kubernetes, and Slurm environments.
• Configure high-speed Ethernet, InfiniBand, and leaf-spine networking.
• Work with NVIDIA Base Command Manager, Mission Control, Run, and bare-metal provisioning.
• Troubleshoot GPU XID errors, NVLink, firmware, drivers, and cluster performance.
• Implement monitoring, telemetry, automation, and operational runbooks using Python, Bash, or Ansible.
• Support security, firmware upgrades, incident management, and infrastructure lifecycle operations.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong Linux administration and data-center networking.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and physical server/cluster deployment.
• Experience with Python/Bash/Ansible and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of firmware, drivers, server boot processes, and network troubleshooting.
  
  

Preferred Skills: NVIDIA MGX/GB200, Base Command Manager, Mission Control, Slurm, Run, InfiniBand/RDMA, NVLink, Prometheus, Grafana, and GPU XID troubleshooting.

Experience: 8+ years in infrastructure, compute, networking, or HPC; hands-on cluster/Kubernetes experience preferred.
