Job Overview

The Senior Platform Engineer/SRE at Bolt will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our platforms. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure solutions on cloud platforms.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of platforms.
• Identify and rectify potential areas of risk or inefficiency within the system architecture.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, promoting automation and integration best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability.
• Establish and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address system issues.
• Develop and document operating procedures and best practices for platform reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to skill-building within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or related roles.
• Strong experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Extensive knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, etc.) and log management.
• Excellent scripting and programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and system architecture.
