Senior PowerBI & GCP Data Analytics Consultant

Pay: $70–$76/hour

Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire

Responsibilities

• Develop executive Power BI dashboards, operational reports, and KPI scorecards.
• Build scalable GCP ingestion pipelines and BigQuery reporting datasets using ETL/ELT.
• Design dimensional models, semantic layers, and complex DAX measures.
• Optimize reporting performance, refresh schedules, and data processing.
• Develop HITL performance analytics, SPC control charts, thresholds, and automated alerts.
• Perform forecasting, trend analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Partner with business and architecture teams to define requirements, governance standards, and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems architecture experience or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.
• 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development.
• 3+ years of GCP experience.
• Experience with executive dashboards, dimensional modeling, and large-scale enterprise datasets.
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop/Service, DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, BigQuery, and ETL/ELT.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• HITL, AI Operations, automation, or process intelligence experience.
• SPC methodologies, control charts, and continuous improvement frameworks.
• Python, APIs, Git, and Agile/Scrum.
• Data governance, metadata management, and observability.
• Financial services or regulated-industry experience.
