Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs that are scalable and efficient.
• Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define system requirements and specifications.
• Optimize existing backend services for performance and scalability to handle increasing user demands.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality standards.
• Ensure security best practices are followed throughout the development process.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers to nurture a culture of knowledge sharing.
• Participate in architecture discussions to drive innovative solutions across the system.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in backend development, preferably in a cloud environment.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Strong experience with microservices architecture and API design.
• Solid understanding of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Experience in agile development methodologies.
