Overview

Selsoft Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and performance of our software products. This role entails collaborating with cross-functional teams to verify functionality, performance, and scalability, while continuously improving testing processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and develop testing strategies.
• Establish and maintain test automation frameworks for functional, performance, and security testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct code reviews of automation scripts and mentoring junior QA engineers.
• Utilize continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze test results and develop reports to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging testing tools and technologies to propose improvements in processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance Automation.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within teams.
