Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects; conduct root cause analysis to ensure they are addressed effectively.
• Automate testing processes to enhance efficiency in testing cycles.
• Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Review and analyze system specifications and requirement documents to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Mentor junior QA team members and assist in establishing QA best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to design discussions with a focus on quality assurance.
• Monitor and report on testing progress and results to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in testing methodologies and frameworks, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or C#.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
