- Modernize access management, reducing manual processes, improving controls, and implementing scalable access review programs.
- Drive SIEM modernization, evaluating vendors, defining log ingestion requirements, and supporting hands-on migration and implementation.
- Manage security monitoring, analyzing logs, investigating alerts, and responding to vulnerabilities and emerging threats.
- Conduct security reviews of new applications, products, and cloud deployments, primarily within AWS environments.
- Partner with IT, engineering, and security leadership to assess risks, strengthen controls, and recommend practical security improvements.
What You Bring
- 8+ years of IT experience, including substantial hands-on security engineering experience.
- Strong incident response expertise, including direct ownership of complex investigations and remediation.
- Significant IAM experience, ideally building or modernizing enterprise access governance and approval programs.
- Hands-on SIEM and security monitoring experience, including log analysis, alert investigation, and platform implementation or migration.
- Solid understanding of vulnerability management, threat detection, and enterprise security controls.
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud security and application security reviews.
- Strong communication, independent problem-solving, and sound security risk judgment.
Preferred
- Healthcare technology, SaaS, or regulated industry experience, including HIPAA/PHI security.
- Experience selecting, implementing, or migrating SIEM platforms.
- Experience automating access reviews, approvals, or IAM governance workflows.
- Familiarity with application/API security and emerging AI technologies such as Amazon Bedrock or Claude.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GSEC, CISA, or Security+.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
- High-impact ownership of incident response, enterprise IAM, and security operations.
- Opportunity to modernize security programs, including access governance and SIEM technologies.
- Collaborative, lean security team offering meaningful autonomy and technical influence.
- Predominantly AWS environment supporting modern healthcare applications and emerging AI technologies.
- Meaningful healthcare impact across 48,000 pharmacies and more than 70 million patients.
- Competitive compensation and benefits, including medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) with company matching provisions, and flexible PTO for eligible full-time employees.
