Overview

Cyware is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our cloud-based applications and services. As a Senior SRE, you will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions, automate processes, and establish robust monitoring systems that enhance our delivery capabilities. You will be instrumental in identifying bottlenecks and troubleshooting incidents, leading efforts to enhance our systems and processes, and ensuring a seamless user experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions to support our applications.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability; automate processes to enhance these metrics.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate best practices for reliability and efficiency into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Lead incident management and resolution activities; conduct post-incident reviews and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture and operational procedures.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior SRE team members.
• Identify system bottlenecks and recommend optimizations while participating in capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Deep understanding of containerization technologies, preferably Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Solid knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Technologies & Tools

In this position, the Senior Site Reliability Engineer will work with a diverse array of technologies and tools that include, but are not limited to, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, Jenkins, and Git. Familiarity with scripting languages and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef is also essential. Continuous integration and deployment practices will be employed to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our software delivery processes.
