Job Overview

Cyware is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic remote team. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable systems that ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Monitor system performance and manage incident responses to resolve service outages effectively.
• Automate repetitive tasks using CI/CD tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs in collaboration with product teams to measure service reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical production systems.
• Review new system designs to ensure they meet operational requirements for reliability and capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar operational role.
• Strong experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Solid understanding of container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
