Overview

Cyware is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This role involves a combination of software engineering and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, fault-tolerant systems. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable systems across multiple platforms.
• Develop and implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response frameworks.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve service reliability and performance.
• Perform root cause analysis and lead incident management to resolve production issues swiftly.
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that enhance infrastructure capabilities.
• Contribute to the architectural design of systems with enhanced reliability and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with security standards across all infrastructure configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or systems engineering.
• Proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, Go, or similar.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and system administration.
• Expertise in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and web protocols.
