Dune Security is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient systems for monitoring and alerting for production services.
• Automate operational processes for deployment, management, and scaling of services.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to service architectures and incident management processes.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues that affect system performance and availability.
• Lead incident response efforts and root cause analysis for reliability issues.
• Continuously improve service availability and performance metrics through rigorous testing and analysis.
• Mentor and train junior engineering staff on SRE best practices and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues.
