Overview

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Test Platform at Cisco Meraki will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining the reliability, availability, and performance of our test platforms. Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and resilient test platforms for continuous integration and deployment.
• Automate operational tasks and develop tools that enhance system reliability and performance.
• Participate in and lead incident response, problem-solving, and root cause analysis efforts to improve system reliability.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to define and enforce service-level objectives (SLOs) and service-level indicators (SLIs).
• Conduct system analysis, performance tuning, and capacity planning to ensure optimal service operations.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to enhance observability of test platforms.
• Document system architecture, procedures, and troubleshooting processes for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability, DevOps, or similar engineering roles.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, system architecture, and microservices design.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
