Overview

Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our remote team. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring solutions for critical applications and services.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment and operational tasks.
• Contribute to incident management and post-mortem analysis to improve systems reliability.
• Work collaboratively with development teams to enhance the system architecture and performance.
• Identify and resolve production issues related to infrastructure and applications.
• Establish and enforce best practices in site reliability engineering and DevOps.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to system alerts in a timely manner.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in programming and automation languages, such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of networking and security protocols.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will utilize a diverse set of technologies and tools to ensure optimal system performance.
