Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automated test frameworks that meet the needs of high-quality software delivery.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define test strategies and assess system quality.
• Write, maintain, and execute scalable and robust test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, investigate, and document defects in a clear and concise manner; manage defect lifecycle appropriately.
• Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure the software meets specified requirements and performance benchmarks.
• Lead test planning and execution for various software releases and coordinate continuous integration and delivery practices.
• Monitor and report on testing progress, quality metrics, and improvement opportunities to management and stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior SDETs and QA engineers regarding best testing practices and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in automation testing.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar languages used for automation.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (e.g., Jenkins, Docker) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on quality assurance and testing best practices.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly convey testing processes and outcomes.
