Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Java, MySQL, and AWS.
• Implement and optimize database schemas and queries for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers and frontend teams to define and refine project requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and maintain documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Continuously improve and expand existing software by integrating new features and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in backend software development, preferably with Java.
• Strong proficiency with MySQL and experience in database design and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, RDS, and Lambda.
• Proficient understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
