Overview

BearPeak Technology Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (Typescript) on a contract basis to join our dynamic team. Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable web applications using Typescript, Node.js, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and visual design concepts into functional applications.
• Manage and optimize databases, ensuring efficient data handling in both SQL and NoSQL environments.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to maintain code quality and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues as they arise, providing timely solutions to enhance application performance.
• Participate in agile ceremonies to support incremental delivery and foster an adaptive work environment.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and advocate for their adoption within the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, ideally with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proficiency in Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
• Strong experience with back-end frameworks such as Node.js and Express.js.
• Familiarity with database management systems, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Technologies & Tools

The ideal candidate will work closely with a variety of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, Typescript, Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Docker, and Git. Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure will be advantageous for this position. Proficiency in utilizing development tools for debugging, code quality analysis, and deployment processes is also essential.
