Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure ($200K - $300K + Equity) AI-Native Social Platform

This role is being recruited by CoffeeSpace on behalf of an anonymous AI-native social platform company.

This company builds an AI-native social OS for brands, providing agentic community management and social listening capabilities. Their platform handles over 10 million conversations weekly for leading brands such as Oura and e.l.f. The company was founded by ex-Meta professionals and recently secured $30M in Series A funding led by Menlo, with participation from GV and True Ventures. With a growing customer base of over 200 enterprises, they are expanding rapidly.

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure, you will be pivotal in scaling the systems behind the company's AI-native social platform. You will be one of the first dedicated infrastructure engineers, shaping how the platform grows to support increasing demand.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure the reliability and scalability of distributed systems that manage high-volume data ingestion and real-time AI agents.
• Develop and enhance ETL pipelines and data infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, Postgres, and ClickHouse.
• Collaborate across the full stack with Python, TypeScript, or Java to build automation, tooling, and product features.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, addressing customer issues and managing incident responses as new enterprise customers are onboarded.
• Strengthen infrastructure-as-code (Pulumi), CI/CD, and observability to enable rapid and safe team operations.

The Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of experience in a deeply technical role with infrastructure focus.
• Proficient in Python, TypeScript, Java, AWS, Kubernetes, and related technologies.
• Comfortable with large data volumes and able to navigate ambiguity effectively.
• Experience in infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and observability practices.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Palo Alto, California.
