About the Opportunity:

The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER will develop and enhance full-stack features, focusing on real-time voice and large language model-powered capabilities. This role involves collaboration with customer-facing teams to translate complex requirements into dependable product improvements. It is a hands-on position within a small senior team where engineers take end-to-end ownership of their work.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver full-stack product features for voice and conversational AI.
• Integrate speech recognition, text-to-speech, and language model functionalities into production systems.
• Collaborate with product and machine learning teams to transform customer needs into scalable solutions.
• Enhance system latency, reliability, cost efficiency, and user experience for millions of users.
• Support developer experience, service reliability, and platform infrastructure.
• Manage multiple initiatives, respond to production feedback, and assist customer-facing engineering as needed.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of software engineering experience with senior-level ownership of full-stack products used by millions.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript with full-stack product development skills.
• Practical experience with large language models in production or significant applied projects.
• Experience in developer experience, site reliability, or platform engineering.
• Familiarity with relational databases, cloud environments, and CI/CD practices.
• Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and continuous improvement mindset.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Base salary range: $130,000-$190,000 USD, plus competitive equity.
