Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
• Execute functional, regression, performance, and compatibility tests across platforms and environments.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met throughout the development process.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to software design discussions to enhance testability and quality.
• Establish best practices and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Mentor and train junior QA engineers, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in quality assurance practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a focus on software testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or equivalent frameworks.
• Knowledge of programming languages including Java, Python, or C# for automating test scripts.
• Experience with Performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer will work with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to: Selenium for automation testing, Jira for project management and issue tracking, TestNG for testing, Jenkins for continuous integration, and SQL for database testing.
