Overview

Stream Loyal is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products by developing and executing comprehensive test plans, designing test cases, and collaborating closely with the development team. You will play a critical role in the software development lifecycle, helping to identify issues before they reach production, and contributing towards enhancing our overall software quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to improve software quality and optimize testing processes.
• Perform regression testing, performance testing, and load testing as required.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance and support in testing best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions to enhance testability and improve overall software quality.
• Maintain automated testing frameworks and identify opportunities for automation.
• Continuously evaluate testing tools, methodologies, and processes to ensure best practices are utilized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Proficient in automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Solid knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Technologies & Tools

In this position, you will primarily work with technologies and tools such as Selenium for automation testing, JUnit and TestNG for unit testing, JIRA for issue tracking, and Git for version control. You will also engage with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins or similar tools to facilitate continuous testing practices. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure may also enhance your ability to integrate testing workflows into our cloud deployment processes.
