Role Description The Senior System Engineer is a full-time, on-site role located at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems and infrastructure in support of mission-critical operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing systems engineering analyses, developing system architectures, documenting requirements, and supporting configuration management. The Senior System Engineer will troubleshoot system issues, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and provide advanced technical support to ensure system reliability and performance. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders, preparing technical documentation, and contributing to process improvements and best practices across the engineering environment.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills for planning, integrating, and optimizing complex technical environments.
• Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for diagnosing, resolving, and preventing system and infrastructure issues.
• Candidates should possess solid System Administration experience for managing operating systems, configurations, performance, and security controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+, Network+) are beneficial.
• Experience working with defense or government systems, including familiarity with security and compliance requirements, is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearance and to work on-site at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA.
