Job Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable distributed systems.
• Monitor system performance, and proactively address issues to ensure peak reliability and availability.
• Collaborate with software development teams to improve system architectures and ensure effective deployment practices.
• Develop and implement automation tools for system deployment, performance management, and monitoring.
• Manage incident response processes and lead operational post-mortems.
• Document operational processes, procedures, and runbooks for reliability improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support during outages or system incidents.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve system efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Ruby.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, security, and system performance tuning.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern application monitoring tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
