Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at WebstaurantStore, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high availability, reliability, and performance of our critical systems. Job Responsibilities

• Monitor system health, performance, and reliability to identify and mitigate issues proactively.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline and enhance software delivery processes.
• Create and manage automated solutions for server deployment and configuration.
• Collaborate with development teams to build scalable and resilient services and applications.
• Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies to track system performance.
• Lead incident response efforts and conduct postmortem analyses to improve future performance.
• Develop documentation for system architecture, operational procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps role.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, Ruby, or similar.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar technologies.
• Solid networking knowledge, including DNS, Load Balancing, and firewalls.

Technologies & Tools

In this position, you will be working with various technologies and tools including but not limited to AWS for cloud infrastructure, Docker for containerization, Kubernetes for orchestration, Jenkins for CI/CD, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. Additionally, you will utilize scripting languages like Python and configuration management tools like Ansible or Terraform to automate and manage infrastructure efficiently.
