Job Overview

At VLink Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our services and applications across multi-cloud environments. This role requires a strong emphasis on automation, process improvement, and operational excellence to enhance our deployment processes and to monitor system performance. The Engineer will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, while troubleshooting and resolving incidents promptly to maintain a seamless user experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Monitor system performance and reliability using logging and monitoring tools, addressing any issues proactively.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline deployment and operational processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and resilient cloud architectures.
• Perform root cause analysis on incidents to identify improvements and prevent future occurrences.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and procedures to enhance knowledge sharing and training.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for production systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or related role.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Ruby.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
