Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Platform / Database Engineer with 8+ years of experience in data platform engineering, database administration, and cloud technologies.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake platform engineering, administration, and performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and database administration.
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS, and modern data ecosystems.
• Scripting and automation using Python, Bash, and SQL.
• CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Bitbucket.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible.
• Platform resiliency, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery strategies.
• Agile delivery, troubleshooting, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.

Preferred Skills:

• SnowPro Core or advanced Snowflake certifications.
• IAM/security integrations, Entra ID, and HashiCorp Vault.
• Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Dynatrace.
• Snowflake cost optimization and FinOps.
• Snowpipe, Snowpark, streaming, and Cortex AI.
• Power BI, Looker, QuickSight, and ServiceNow.

Note: Candidates must be able to work onsite three days per week in Dallas, TX, or Tampa, FL.
