About the Role

Stealth Startup is looking for a Senior Software Developer to build scalable data systems and machine-learning-driven applications for financial analytics and modeling. The role involves working closely with quantitative researchers and company leadership to develop high-performance systems and integrate technology with fintech platforms and financial institutions.

The ideal candidate has strong production-level Python skills, at least five years of software development experience, and the ability to work independently while contributing to technical strategy and mentoring other engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Build scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Develop machine-learning-driven financial modeling and analytics tools.
• Design and optimize high-performance software systems.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and company leadership.
• Integrate software solutions with fintech platforms and financial institutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical strategy.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong production-level Python programming skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications / Requirements

• Experience mentoring engineers is a plus.
• Experience in fintech or financial modeling is a plus.

Salary & Benefits

The compensation package includes an annual base salary of $160,000–$250,000 USD, plus a performance bonus.
