  • Build intelligent copilots and assistants using Copilot Studio, integrating enterprise data and workflows.
  • Design and maintain secure APIs and backend services that integrate with Azure SQL Database, enterprise document repositories, and business systems.
  • Build containerized workloads using Docker and support modern deployment strategies.
  • Implement observability, telemetry, and performance monitoring using Azure Application Insights, logging, tracing, and alerting practices.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions to support reliable automated deployments.
  • Support Azure governance and security requirements, including identity, compliance, and networking controls.
  • Provide quality assurance, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer for developed AI systems.
  • Respond to escalated production issues and provide technical leadership in root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by IT leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and commensurate experience.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in enterprise application development, AI implementation, or cloud-based engineering; professional services experience is preferred.
  • Ability to independently resolve complex production issues and recommend solutions for enterprise application problems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, and ASP.NET.
  • Experience with cloud-native backend development and API design.
  • Experience with Azure App Services, Azure Web Apps, and Azure Functions.
  • Knowledge of Durable Functions and orchestrated workflows.
  • Experience with Azure Service Bus and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with Azure SQL and relational database development.
  • Experience with Docker and container-based deployments.
  • Experience with application monitoring using Azure Application Insights.
  • Experience implementing AI-enabled systems using Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI services.
  • Knowledge of embeddings, vector search, and RAG pipelines.
  • Experience with AI agent frameworks, automation patterns, and Copilot Studio or other conversational AI platforms.
  • Experience with source control and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Git.
  • Understanding of Azure infrastructure concepts, including VNets, Private Endpoints, DNS, firewalls, and secure networking.
  • Understanding of identity and access management using Entra ID.
