Overview

ClearCaptions, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our innovative team on a fully remote basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and establish testing objectives.
• Perform thorough analysis of software requirements to identify testable scenarios and components.
• Execute test plans and report test results, identifying defects and logging issues in a clear, detailed manner.
• Enhance and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices for software testing methodologies.
• Mentor junior team members and assist in developing a test automation framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
