Job Overview

The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at BeyondTrust is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the company's software products. Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test frameworks and test scripts for web and software applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand feature requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
• Build and maintain test cases, test data, and environments to facilitate thorough testing across multiple platforms.
• Execute automated and manual tests to validate functionality, performance, and security of applications.
• Identify, report, and track software defects, providing detailed documentation and recommendations for improvements.
• Continuously enhance testing processes and tools by suggesting and implementing best practices.
• Participate in the Agile development process, attending daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to the growth of the QA team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing and experience in automation testing frameworks.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Strong understanding of software development processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools such as Jenkins.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
