About the Opportunity:

The SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER IN TEST ensures the quality and reliability of the organization's products by leading automation and testing efforts. This role impacts the user experience by establishing testing strategies, building automated frameworks, and collaborating across teams to deliver trusted releases. It plays a key part in maintaining and enhancing product quality for a large user base.

Responsibilities:

• Define testing strategy and quality standards for consumer and internal tools
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, mobile, and integration testing
• Review requirements and code changes early to identify issues promptly
• Collaborate with product teams on release planning and certification
• Partner with product and design to establish acceptance criteria and maintain schedules
• Manage offshore QA team, focusing on automation and value-added testing
• Document and drive resolution of defects
• Monitor and report quality metrics like coverage and release stability
• Utilize AI tools to enhance test creation and analysis
• Contribute to feature development across platforms as the role evolves

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience as software engineer, SDET, or QA automation engineer
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript programming
• Experience building test automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of mobile app testing on iOS and/or Android
• Experience leading QA efforts and release readiness, including distributed teams
• Comfortable using AI-assisted testing and development tools

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Base pay range: $111,400 to $181,500 depending on location, skills, and experience
• Eligible for equity, comprehensive benefits, 401(k), and flexible time off
