ConstructConnect is seeking a highly motivated Software Development Engineer Test II. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing robust testing frameworks, conducting thorough testing cycles, and ensuring high-quality standards for our software applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with software developers and project managers to design effective test strategies that enhance the overall user experience while maintaining the integrity of our software products.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test frameworks and test cases for various software applications.
• Execute manual and automated test plans, report on test results, and work with development teams to resolve defects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and improve testing processes.
• Develop performance testing scripts and lead performance testing initiatives.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and promote best practices in automated testing.
• Contribute to the documentation of processes, test strategies, and results to ensure compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance methodologies.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C#, Python, etc.) and experience with test automation tools.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with performance testing tools (such as JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Technologies & Tools

The Software Development Engineer Test II will utilize various technologies and tools including but not limited to Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Jenkins, Jira, and Git. Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable as the position requires continuous integration and deployment practices in a dynamic software development environment.
