HIRING: SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Salary: $90,000–$185,000 + Competitive Equity

I'm looking to connect with talented Software Engineers for an exciting opportunity at Teiko, a company digitizing the immune system to advance clinical trials for leading drug developers.

This is a unique opportunity to join Teiko as its second engineer, building innovative software at the intersection of full-stack engineering, machine learning, healthcare, and scientific data.

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, or San Mateo, California
Work Arrangement: On-site, 5 days a week

What You'll Do

Build full-stack features, including customer-facing clinical trial dashboards and sample notification systems. Improve data visualization pipelines, implement machine learning techniques for automated cancer-cell boundary detection in cytometry data, and automate laboratory workflows from sample preparation to data analysis. You'll also deliver reliable, production-quality software for high-stakes clinical trials and collaborate directly with scientists and clients to improve products.

Required Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and production software, demonstrated experience shipping software used by real customers, and experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure. The baseline profile targets 2–5 years of full-stack software engineering experience, with strong engineering fundamentals and a focus on code quality.

Preferred Skills

Experience with React, TypeScript, customer-facing dashboards, data visualization, machine learning, or complex scientific datasets such as genomics, cytometry, imaging, and climate data.

Visa and Relocation

H-1B transfers are accepted, and OPT candidates are considered. H-1B lottery sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Salt Lake City, UT, or San Mateo, CA, or be willing to relocate.

Resume Recommendations

Highlight relevant work history, demonstrate measurable achievements through metrics and before-and-after results wherever possible, and list GPA consistently across all degrees or omit it from all degrees. Evidence of delivering production software and measurable engineering impact is particularly important.

A product-focused engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and delivering reliable software to real users. Experience in enterprise SaaS, big tech, healthcare technology, biotech, AI, data infrastructure, or developer tools can be especially relevant.
